Script and go is launching the most awaited product called Site Task which allows users to organise, schedule, and plan tasks with features such as report progress, task allocation, project timeline, and export customizable report.

Every project requires consideration of both cost and schedule over time, so planning, monitoring, and record-keeping must consider both dimensions.

Site Task solves the issues such as improper schedule, inadequate planning, inefficient use of resources on-site, and team miscommunication which are the primary reasons for a project delay or overbudget.

Our whole new Site Task has:

  1. Task Allocation and report progress
  2. Productivity Status
  3. Timeline View of site/project
  4. Resources hours
  5. Export report PDF/CSV/Excel
  6. Link to your site diary
  7. Real-time view
  8. Weather
  9. Available in mobile and web apps (Android and iOS)

Navigation between Site Diary and Site Task

You can switch between site task and site diary in just one click. The Site Task app can work by itself or collectively with the Site Diary app. That means, the user will be able to report progress on a task from within the task app or they can report progress in the Site Diary app. If a user reports progress within the task app, a carbon copy of that progress report will be created in the Diary app (new event). You can then edit this event in the Diary and add more details if you like.

Timeline view

A timeline for every task and event in a construction project. It defines the resources needed and the teams responsible for each task in the construction process.

See all task in a timeline view. In the timeline view, there will be three tabs to switch between month, 2 week or 1 week.

  • Monthly view and 2 week view – Task card will just have the name of the task
  • 1 week view:  Task card will have task name and progress percentage

You can sort tasks by location, contractor, or assignee.

Quantities on task

In the quantity field, users will be able to input what numerical quality of the task. Also, select the unit of the task from a selectable list of units. Common units are: Cubic meter ‘CUM’, Square meter ‘SQM’, Tonnes ‘T’, Kilometre ‘KM’, Meter ‘M’, Litre ‘L’, Kilogram ‘KG’. Its helpful to companies for BOQ or BQ (Bill of quantities).

Task unit will be the same by default in the diary form. Users cannot change the units from the diary. See the picture below:

Quantity reported each day will accumulate to determine how much of the work is done and how much remains. This will then automatically update the percentage bar.

Example:

Task A: planned quantity = 50m

  • Jan 1: quantity done today = 10m, percentage progress = 20% (10/50)
  • Jan 2: quantity done today = 15m, percentage progress = 50% (25/50)
